For the second year in a row, Render was involved in designing the branding and promotional materials for Salt Lake Design Week.
“Art of the Fold” was this year’s theme for the Beaux Arts Ball, the high-concept avant-garde costume party that is the closing social event for the week. Render designed a triptic promotional poster series for the event exemplifying “the Fold.”
An angular typeface was selected to reinforce the architectural heritage of the Beaux Arts Ball. The simplicity of the black and white emphasized the folds and made those angles the most important element in the poster design.
Render also designed the elaborately folded costume that enveloped the model Raisa Kuddus, Director of Programing for AIGA Salt Lake City. Photography was by Creative Director of Render Branding, Adam J. Wester at photo collective studios. Adam J. Wester also serves on AIGA’s Board as Vice President of Relationships.
